Hi everyone!

Today, we're gonna talk about the latest handbags and shoes from Dolce & Gabbana's shop. I've paired them together for your viewing pleasure (and also because I think it looks pretty and that's what it's all about, right?). Let me know which combo was your favorite. I personally love all of these because they're just really beautifully designed. Some are a bit ornate and some are a bit playful but they're all super gorgeous and I'd love to own them all (Santa, please let me win the lottery).

Okay but enough about my sad dreams. Let's look at these beauties.

Hello my friends!

Welcome back to my blog. If you're new, hello hello~ Be sure to check out the rest of my page, add me on Twitter, and follow me on Bloglovin'!

If you're anything like me, you'll know the challenge of picking out the perfect gift is one that comes around more often than I expected. It seems that every few months, I'll be stuck trying to buy multiple presents for multiple people's birthdays and truthfully, it's getting harder and harder to one-up the previous year's ideas.

Having friends or family members with hobbies is nice but that's not something we can control. Also, knowing people who are actually in need of things all the time, such as socks or basic T-shirts, is great but most of the people I'm associated with are well equipped to handle their own fashion essentials. They have everything they need and they have the means to buy what they want. So what are people like you and me supposed to do when it comes to gift-giving? I don't have all the answers. Actually, I don't have answers. But here are some things that may tickle your fancy or inspire you in some way on your gift shopping journey!

Carry on carry on
(1) ASOS Tote Bag With Stud Detail $52
(2) ASOS Mini Suede Lace Up Duffle $31
(3) Nasty Gal Batteries Not Included Chain Bag $33.60
(4) ASOS Embellished Chain Cross Body Bag $48
(5) BDG Mini Saddle Bag $34

(1) Loli Swim Toasty Egg iPhone 6/6s Case $35
(2) Triple C Smart Cordz Retractable Charge Cable $35
(3) Sunnylife Cactus Neon Light $22
(4) Cat Butt Magnets $12.99
(5) ASOS #Heart You Keychain $14
(6) Peek a Boo Cat Bubble Umbrella $40

For the cooks in your life
(1) Copper Infuser Tea Pot $49.99
(2) Croquade Heart Waffle Plate $39.95
(3) Hatching Chick Cookie Jar $12.99
(4) Aqua Ceramic Scone Pan $14.99
(5) Chef'sChoice Electric Egg Cooker $39.95
(6) Avocado Cuber $17.95

Leave it down below if you want me to do a birthday gift guide for the men in your life :) I hope this gave you guys some ideas of what you can buy as birthday gifts. Obviously, there are a lot more specific items you can choose depending on the person but I just found these to be very cute and unique!

Bye for now,
Jenn

Tattoo tights have recently gained more and more popularity, seeping its way into the wardrobes of fashion Youtube gurus. Ideally, these would be worn during warmer months, just because of how sheer I imagine the tights/pantyhose are. The prints on the actual tights vary, depending on where you buy them but the one I've seen most frequently is the gun pattern.

Romwe: Gun Print Nude Tights

The toughness/badass nature of the pattern probably appeals to a lot of girls who like the juxtaposition of feminine pieces and bolder ones. In that sense, I can see why they're so popular.

Of course, there are other ones like this, with cats and stars.
Romwe: Cat Head Five-star Print Nude Tights

...and ones like this with fake blood.
Romwe: "Red Splashed Ink" Apricot Tights

The second accessory that I've been semi obsessed with is the hat with ears. Hands down, so cute. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea but I think it can add a whimsical element to an otherwise bland outfit.

Romwe: Bobble Black Hat

I could easily see the black hat being worn with an all black outfit. It would add so much more dimension, in addition to texture.

and then there's this one with the cat ears (gyah!)
Romwe: Cat Ears Leopard Hat

or this!
Asos: Fur Ears Cossack Hat

and this adorable little creature.
Asos: Mixed Knit Bear Beanie

As always, let me know down below what your thoughts are. Any in particular that you liked?

Balmain

Pringle of Scotland

Versus

Calvin Klein

Tory Burch

Alexander Wang

Roberto Cavalli

Marni

Go ahead and click this if you'd like to check out the accessories in other seasons and collections!

Those were basically all my obsessions for Fall 2012 RTW...if I had money, I would absolutely splurge on several of those items but, alas, it'll probably remain as a dream for this broke college student. :/

Did you have any designer obsessions for this fall or are you the type of person to always lust after designer items anyway? Don't be shy! Let me know in the comments below.

Greetings to all! Fingers crossed that you guys are having an awesome Monday because I definitely am!

I know I haven't written anything in like two weeks and I assure you, I weep tears on the inside because of how busy I am. Luckily, I have a few hours to spare today so I'll be putting some posts scheduled for this week :)

As the title suggests, today I will share this article about H&M that I recently found on Styleite.com. You can read about it right here!

H&M has this big project going on that involves opening a chain of retail stores called "& Other Stories" in select European cities. Basically, rather than selling clothing, which they're most known for, these & Other Stories stores will concentrate on the accessories, beauty, and lingerie bits of a woman's wardrobe.

So, needless to say, these stores are going to be targeted at women.

The whole concept behind this chain is about bringing everything a woman can wear into one place because H&M believes that those accessories, beauty items, and lingerie are just as important in an outfit as the clothes. Makes sense.

The chain will launch Spring 2013 so if you're somewhere in Europe, lucky you!

I personally wish they'd bring it over here to America so I can satisfy my curiosity as to what H&M is going to do with these & Other Stories stores.

What do you guys think??

Vogue.co.uk is one of my favorite websites for finding out the latest happenings in the fashion world, along with Styleite.com.

I came across a few things that caught my eye, such as the Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer collection for 2013 and the new Louis Vuitton Shoe Salon (both of which I will delve upon in later posts) but today, I decided to talk about something not directly about clothing.

Makeup and hair are essential elements of any runway show.

Vogue picked out some of their favorite hair and beauty styles seen in the Autumn/Winter 2012-2013 Couture collections. Out of those, I will personally choose a few that I felt were the most impressive and just talk a little bit about how to recreate the look and make it more wearable/trendy!

If you'd like to see the post on the actual website, click here!

#1

Giambattista Valli

Aside from the whole fantasy forest-like look they were going for, one of my favorite parts about this look is the coloring of the butterfly. I love that it isn't one solid color; there's also a bit of a shimmery effect to it.

The netting scared me a little when I first saw it but it reminds me of a princess being trapped or some kind of wired wall. So intriguing.

So how on earth do you take something like that and bring it to the real world?
Well...

I think this look can be achieved with a side braid or some type of braid to mimic the netting and then using very tiny butterfly pins to scatter around the braid. It might also be possible to find small butterfly...molds? Those fake butterflies. Well hopefully you guys know what I'm talking about. But those will look a little more realistic and less childish than butterfly clips. Take them, hot glue gun a bobby pin, and voila!

#2

Chanel

I remember a million years ago, wearing blue eyeshadow, bright red cheeks, and pink lips were cool. I don't know if it was just part of my culture or what but according to my mom, it was "pretty". I thought to myself...how can that ever be pretty?

Well, Chanel, congrats! Because I absolutely love this look.

Probably the biggest factor is how pastel the colors are and basically just how toned out the whole look is. The model looks like a total princess. I can't stand how much I love it.

If you're wondering, she's wearing Chanel's Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Rose Initial!

How to recreate? Well, I suggest using a small fluffy brush and taking a bit of light blue eyeshadow and dusting that on the entire lid under the crease. Use a lighter shade or something silver-toned and pop that right in the inner corners. Then take a gunmetal or mauve-ish color and lightly blend that in the outer corners.

For the blush, just gently blend it inward, not upward. Finish with a light mauve/pink lipstick!

#3

Chanel

There was a trend a while back that involved painting a half-moon shape on the inner bit of the nail. Almost like an inverted french tip.

Well this is pretty interesting because it's somewhat like that trend but closer to the shape of a U. It omits everything but the tip. What I love about this is that it gives the illusion of smaller nails.

The color combo they used was also really sleek; the silver kind of pulled the whole thing into a futuristic feel.

There are two ways to recreate this! Numero uno: painting the entire nail pink and the using a nail pen/brush/eyeliner brush to paint a silver border, but leaving the tip of the nail open.

OR you can paint the entire nail silver and use a normal nail polish brush to paint the pink nail shape/rectangle shape inside the silver.

#4

Giorgio Armani Prive

The vocal point of this look is the veil and basically all of the models in the Armani Prive collection sported something along the lines of this sharp and dark appearance.

I love that the veil has this smooth and sheer texture that almost makes it invisible, if not for the color. The beads just elevate this look; it's perfect.

By wearing such an accessory, the model becomes more mysterious and kind of sacred.

Honestly, it'd be a little challenging to apply this look in real life because most would assume you've just walked out of a funeral or some sort. I suggest taking the idea of the sequins and wearing it in headband form but making sure that whatever the sequins are attached to have a similar sheerness as the veil.

A cute way to wear it would be to place the fabric on the back of your neck with the each end held in each hand and then pulling both ends up to the top of your head and tying a knot. If the sequins are attached on the side, it'll look super adorable!

And that's all I've got for today! I sincerely wish you all well and fingers crossed that you liked this post :)

Until next time,
{kisses}

I have no idea if it's because it's summertime and summer always equals water and beaches but a prominent trend this year has been the ocean print.

Starfishes (no, not Patrick!) and seashells as well as blue and purple tones have been making their appearance in various designer collections for the spring.

Here are a few found from Vogue.co.uk ! Click here for the actual post.

I especially love the second one because of how all the different textures mingle together but are bonded by the similar color palette. I also really dig the little feathery bits around the "bra" and the wave-like structures coming around the sides. Gorgeous.

I think that for this trend, it can go from something as simple to a pair of seashell earrings all the way to a glamorous printed dress. It also can tie into the watercolor-y effect that seems to be trendy right now too.

A chiffon maxi dress with the watercolor ocean print would probably be the epitome of summer.

Until next,

Bonjour, my wonderful readers!

I know how we all love looking at pictures of gorgeous necklaces and rings and bags and shoes so I'll try to keep the commentary at a minimum. But here is a list of the Fall 2012 Accessories (based on Style.com's selection) that I think are pretty much perfect and things that I'd want in my closet.

Keep in mind that a lot of these will be trend-based but if you're looking to invest in some jewelry pieces, I suggest going for colors that transcend seasonal trends, ones that never go out of style. Neon colors, I consider, trendy. Rose gold, on the other hand, is very feminine and works well with most clothing items. I would even just go back to the basics: gold and silver. If you're looking for a colored piece, I suggest turquoise or jewel toned accessories. Why? Well, I'm not 100% sure why but turquoise tends to look really good with basics like white t-shirts but they can also look really snazzy with bolder tops like coral blouses. As for the jewel tones, accessories in those colors always manage to look classy, especially if you dress them up the right way.

So that's my little fashion rant!

Please enjoy the rest of this post~

I noticed a lot of gold in the jewelry section and plenty of trendy shoes for the Fall. Chunky heels everywhere. I've also seen a lot of designers make their own version of the... loafer/slipper hybrid. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about. The front bit extends to about midway of the front of your foot. So it covers more than a normal flat. They've gotten so much hype but I don't think they look quite right on me so I'll be skipping out on that trend.

That's all for today. Let me know what you guys think. What are you faves for this Fall??

Until we meet again,
