Dabbling in Graphic Design

by - February 18, 2017

I took a graphic design course as an undergraduate and fell in love with the idea of being able to control a creative process from start to finish. Not only that, seeing the product/end result of your hard work is so satisfying! I've been playing around recently, rekindling those creative juices, because I realized how much I enjoyed designing.

So, pretty much everything I know now is based off that class + my own trial and errors.

My latest 'dabbling' has been magazine covers and wedding stationery. Just to put it out there, I did take inspiration from existing magazines (like the names and whatnot) but I tried to use my own style to format the covers.

Hope you guys enjoy this and if you are also into design, leave your links down below so I can check them out!

I'm currently doing a fashion design course and I have been making a few garments for myself lately, and I love that!

I write Mademoiselle Meets Maquillage and Macaroons and I would love for you to give it a read, maybe we can follow each other's blogs and social media?

    1. Thanks for sharing your story! I actually studied retail merchandising as an undergrad. Never actually made garments but I did take one course on designing. Lots of fun but also lots of hard work.
