Follow Me Around: Week 2 of March

by - March 11, 2017

This week, I'm documenting and bringing you a 'slice' of my life. My weeks are pretty boring, #tbh. But I haven't really done anything like this before so I thought it might be fun to show you what Boston looks like through my week :)

MONDAY
At the start of the week, I had a dentist consultation (so exciting, I know) for my wisdom teeth. Although it was around 30 degrees F today, it actually didn't feel as cold as I expected so the walk to the office was really pleasant. If you've ever been in Boston, you'll know that Commonwealth Ave or Comm Ave as it's otherwise known is a SERIOUSLY long street. I started at the beginning, where the Public Gardens are, and I saw cute puppies and joggers.

It truly was a beautiful morning.

Everyone at the office was so friendly and even though I was mega nervous about the fact that all four of my wisdom teeth would have to be removed, I felt pretty relieved once I left.

I made my way back down and cut through the Public Gardens and Boston Common to get home. I travel a lot and I've seen a lot of beautiful sights but it's hard to compare any of that to Boston. It's just such a gorgeous city (I'm biased, it's my hometown).

WEDNESDAY
I went out shopping today, which is generally fun. This morning, the magnetic button on my purse fell apart so I was on a mission to get some super glue. It's fixed now, thank goodness.

I came across these pair of Vince Camuto slip on loafers (?) in a pink suede at Marshall's and though I REALLY wanted to buy them, I resisted. It was $50 that I didn't need to spend but omg if you see them at your Marshall's, you must try them on. They were comfortable and so effortless-chic. I'll have to keep my eye out in case they go on sale...

Later that night, we drove back into Boston and had Malaysian takeout for dinner. So yum, I regret not taking any pictures (but I was too busy stuffing my face so...).

SATURDAY
One of my closest friends and I went out for dinner at this Korean restaurant. SO MANY REGRETS for not taking pictures of the food. But you know how it is. It's rude to have your phone out during dinner and especially since I wanted to catch up with her and everything. So, apologies for the lack of photos :(

The food was really good though. I had the kimchi stew and I swear, it's different at every restaurant. So far my favorite is at a restaurant called Bukkyung but this one was decent.

It was ridiculously cold outside by the time we left. How can it be March and still be this cold?!

Hoping that Spring comes before I become an ice cube.

  2. It was still an exciting week. If I were to document my week where I didn't have any photo or commercial shoots, it would be very boring. Just me sitting on my computer getting work done.

  3. I love this little week recap! And now I know to AVOID Marshall's since my bank account and my closet do not agree on much, haha.

Hope you're staying warm ahead of the incoming snow storm!!
