With the fast fashion market nowadays, you can get a decent faux leather jacket for a really good price. If you're willing to pay a little extra, you opt for a higher quality version as well. Either way, it is an absolute staple year-round (unless you live somewhere that is perpetually summer time!).

Black leather jackets are a classic but I think an unconventional color like red, gray, or even white can add a point of interest to your outfit and still be just as versatile. Below, I've chosen to highlight a short, red leather jacket.

You can pair it with more casual tops like a graphic tee or sweatshirt to add a bit more texture and structure to a laid-back outfit. You can also throw on a plaid shirt or flannel to soften the leather look...plus flannels are a must-have for fall. If it's a bit warmer where you live, try a cropped tank underneath in the same color family, paired with a skirt or high waisted jeans! Finally, try a camel colored knit dress to make the color of the jacket pop! It will keep you warm while still showing off that figure.

So tell me, what's your favorite way to wear leather jackets and would you ever invest in a colored one?!

Bye for now,

Hello to you! I am currently trapped inside the house as there is a blizzard happening outside. It's been another month since I've posted anything and I SERIOUSLY am frowning upon myself for that.

But here I am! For a festive return.

Except not.

I thought I'd put together a little black ensemble for this gloomy day. I hope you like how I styled it. Let me know what you think.

Lately, I've been interested in reading (yes, actual books). Just finished a book by Ira Neimark, which talked about Bergdorf Goodman and Neimark's life lessons. Quite a fun read if you like fashion so I recommend that.

Also been into sketching shoes. I am an absolute novice at this but I want to keep practicing. Maybe when I'm more confident, I will post some of them here for you to see!

As always, have a wonderful rest of the day (or month...depending on when I'll be back, harhar).

First of all, I'm back! School just bashed me to little pieces but winter break has given me a chance to rest and just do nothing. What more could I ask for?

Also, does cold wintry mornings make anyone else completely obsessed with velvets and such? Lately, all I've been gravitating towards are velvet...things; shoes, pants, bags, you name it. I seriously think that it's quickly becoming one of my favorite textures, next to fur (faux, obviously).

Even though I associate velvet with winter, I think it's capable of seamlessly transitioning your wardrobe into the spring as well. Depending on the color of the item, it could pair well with a white sweater for chillier spring days or floral prints to bring out the brighter tones.

What do you guys think? and let me know how your holidays were!
