Hello! Are you guys surprised to see me back so soon? I certainly am.

April is fast approaching and I already have a feeling that I'm going to be so bogged down with work for the next few weeks that I am actually cringing just thinking about it...

So here's the deal.

I'll be doing a series of "reviews" on some of the Fall 2013 ready-to-wear collections that I found captivating and just overall very inspiring. As always, I would LOVE to hear about the collections you guys fell in love with or even collections that didn't particularly meet your standards.

If you'd like to see the full Style.com review (ahem, it's okay, I won't be offended), click on this link!

My favorite part of this garment is probably the sheer lace detailing on the side of the leather pencil skirt as well as on the collarbone/shoulder area. It's such a nice touch to the sheer blouse and almost has the illusion of an off-the-shoulder vibe.

Absolutely brilliant to have a bit of skin showing on the side of the skirt. It's feminine and sexy but subtle and the leather just adds the right amount of toughness to balance that out.

and oh, let's not even get into the shoes. How perfect.

This look has more structural elements than the first one and is very streamlined as well as clean-cut. I love that the focal point is the lace at her waist area and the lower neckline showcases a healthy amount of cleavage without being overly provocative.

Great piece that incorporated the whole gradient lace effect that was seen in quite a few Spring 2013 couture collections like Elie Saab and Valentino.

Gorgeous high neck piece frames her face perfectly. There's so much fluidity in this garment that it looks as though the fabric might just dissolve into a pool. I love it.

Did anyone else notice the shape of the armholes? I can't express how much I love them. It was cut just enough to cover the top portion of the shoulders, making the arms look slim and oh so elegant.

Long fitted dresses aren't really my cookie of choice BUT this one is quite fun to look at because of the whimsical polka dots and the translucent fabrics. The only thing I don't like about this is how prominent her shoulders look. It might be because of where the fabric was placed but eh.

What really caught my eye was the two sheer portions running down her legs. It gave the illusion of a shorter dress with the solid black velvet and just enough leg to cut the otherwise "vampy" feel.

I wouldn't say that this is the most innovative dress in the world but the color is what drew me to this. The different shades of blue added to the textural nature of this dress and it's so vibrant that I'm tempted to mark it off as a Spring/Summer piece.

But it's not.
